‘Awards Round-Up & More..’
WOW WOW WOW what an incredible February!
It was an amazing awards-season this year, from the Golden Globes and SAG Awards
to the Academy Awards on Sunday, and everything in between!
It was an honor to attend this year’s Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa
Monica, where I was able to congratulate personally the talented Casey Affleck, who
picked up the Best Male Lead award, for one of my award-movie favorites
‘Manchester By The Sea’. (pictured below)
Over the Oscar-weekend I also showed my support, once again, to BOVET 1822 &
Artist for Peace & Justice at their ‘Songs from the Cinema’ Benefit in LA, supporting
the rebuilding of Haiti alongside Jeremy Renner, Jeff Bridges, Rita Wilson, Jack
Black to name a few.
I also had a wonderful evening at the Women in Film pre-Oscar Cocktail Party with
Meryl Streep, Brie Larson, Emma Stone and Viola Davis, just a few of the many
guests this year in attendance.
Congratulations to all the amazing winners during this awards-season!
Finally, on March 16th, my movie ‘Reinbou’, directed by Andrés Curbelo and David
Maler, will be premiering in the Dominican Republic. The film will enjoy a theatrical
release at all Caribbean Cinemas.
