‘Love Is All Around Us’
Fabulous February is here!
Love is all around us as we celebrate Valentine’s Day and the continuation of Awards-
season!
Last month I was fortunate to be a guest at the Golden Globes InStyle & Warner Brothers
party, the red carpet premiere of ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, and the launch of Jennifer
Lopez and Guiseppe Zanotti’s new shoe collection at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills
(pictured below).
This month we are continuing with awards season – and what a great year for diversity. A
record six amazing African-American actors have been nominated and one LGBGT film.
We are a multi-dimensional community in Hollywood, with all races and ethnicities working
to bring exceptional entertainment to movie-goers. Congratulations to all the nominated
films and fellow actors. We have some incredible movies to celebrate this year. One of my
personal favorites is ‘Manchester By The Sea’ from Amazon.
Later this month I will be supporting the AIDS Research Foundation and attending the
‘2017 amfAR New York Gala’. To date the amfAR New York Gala has raised more than $17
million. It is a great event for a fantastic cause. I will also be attending the Artist for Peace &
Justice Gala, supporting the rebuilding of Haiti, and the Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Finally, in March my movie ‘Reinbou’, directed by Andrés Curbelo and David Maler, will
premiere in the Dominican Republic. More news on the movie and my character next
month!
