‘Sultry Summer Nights’
Wowzer! Can you believe we are already half way through 2016, as we welcome a very warm June here in sunny Los Angeles!
Last month I attended the nomination announcement for the 3rd Annual Premios
Platino of Iberoamerican Cinema. I was honored to be amongst the celebrated
talents of Latino ‘s in cinema. This year there are 23 Latin countries participating in Premios Platino with film submissions. The final awards show will take place in
Punta Del Este in Uruguay next month.
Back home in Hollywood I was delighted to support Film Independent for the opening night of the Los Angeles Film Festival and the premiere of Demián Bichir and Eva Longoria’s latest movie ‘Lowriders’. We all thoroughly enjoyed the film, and the shiny low riding cars at the after-party hosted at Beso in Hollywood.
Finally, my movie ‘The Summoning’, directed by Alberto G Rodriguez and also
starring Eric Roberts, has been completed and is ready to hit the film festival
circuit. I am very excited for you all to see this drama-thriller feature film. I’ll keep
you posted on the release dates for ‘The Summoning’ next month!
